Overview

The Delus 1.5W series is a high-performance, micro-power DC-DC converter designed for wide input voltage applications. Housed in an ultra-compact SIP package, its exceptional power density helps engineers maximize valuable PCB real estate. Featuring low inrush current, excellent load regulation, and ultra-low output ripple, this series ensures stable and reliable operation even in highly sensitive circuits.

Utilizing an advanced PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation) control architecture, the 1.5W wide-input series is optimized for battery-powered equipment and fluctuating input bus voltages. Unlike standard fixed-input DC-DC modules, it effortlessly accommodates wider input voltage fluctuations without the need for additional pre-regulation circuitry, simplifying system design and reducing overall BOM costs.

Built to withstand demanding environments, these converters deliver an ideal power solution for industrial control systems, communication equipment, and precision instrumentation. They are specifically engineered for applications requiring broad input voltage tolerances and robust galvanic isolation between the input and output.

What is a wide voltage power module?

Wide input voltage range, stable output under voltage fluctuation, ideal for industrial, automotive and battery-powered applications.

Difference between wide voltage & normal modules?

Normal modules have narrow input range; wide voltage modules have better adaptability and anti-interference for complex conditions.

How to choose input voltage range?

Select with 10%–20% margin. 9–36V for industrial, 18–75V for automotive.

Can this DC-DC module work without external input/output capacitors?

All electrical parameters of our power modules are tested and guaranteed without the need for external input or output capacitors. However, adding external capacitors will further optimize performance. We highly recommend using them, as this minimal investment yields substantial gains in system stability and reliability.

What derating is required at high ambient temperature?

Please refer to the temperature derating curve in the product datasheet for specific operational guidelines.
